INHOUSE JAZZ
Our mission is to support and equip the next generation of artists
All money collected from donations beyond expenses is contributed in support of local jazz and arts education.
Lessons for students
Money for individual private instruction and Jazz Camp Scholarships for a few students in financial need. Student recipients are identified by their school music instructors
Pat George Legacy Clinic
Offered each spring, this annual clinic is taught by the musicians who are featured in the first INHOUSE concert of the season
Students attend performances, workshops, clinics and panel discussions at the local jazz festival
Each year the Oregon Coast Council for the Arts hosts the Oregon Coast Jazz Party. In 2013 and 2014 INHOUSE purchased tickets for Newport High School Band students to attend concerts of world class jazz professionals. As participants, they were sponsered to attend clinics, workshops, and encouraged to go to panel discussions offered by the festival.
Instrument repair for local school music programs
INHOUSE donated funds to Lincoln County School District, to pay for badly needed instrument repairs for the middle school and high school band programs in Newport, Waldport and Toledo.
